Madison Scottish Country Dancers
You do not have to be a member of Madison Scottish Country Dancers (MSCD)/Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) to come to a Sunday night class. The classes are free and open to all, although we do ask for a $2 donation per night. For your RSCDS dues, you get your name included (if you so desire) in our local membership list and group e-mail list; you get copies of cheat sheets, flyers and calendars; you get the opportunity to serve on our Board; and you get the warm feeling of having supported your local Scottish country dance organization. You also get to vote at the annual meeting!
As an RSCDS member, you receive the Scottish Country Dancer Magazine and are entitled to attend St. Andrews workshops and obtain teacher training. Your Branch/RSCDS membership also helps support Scottish Country Dancing world-wide. Youthful dancers, please note: RSCDS membership is open to anyone 16 years or older.
Current dues are:- $25 - Under 25 years of age
- $40 - Age 25 or older
- $35 - Couple rate when both partners register
RSCDS membership is only available in the fall, and runs from July through the next June. There is no longer a MSCD-only membership. Please submit membership form and dues for both RSCDS by October 31, 2016.
